Flying with pleasure: How to ensure a comfortable flight
When travelling by air, tourists try to place their luggage in a way that maximizes their comfort zone. At the same time, travel experts give various tips that can help make travelling more comfortable.
In particular, Megan, the author of the Portable Professional YouTube channel, suggested that tourists boarding an airplane should make sure they never put their hand luggage in a container behind the seat. She advises storing hand luggage in a container directly above or in front of you, Express writes.
"Trust me, when it's time to get off the plane, you don't want your luggage stuck behind you because you'll have to wait for all those people sitting behind you to get off the plane. Before you can get back there, take your luggage and get off by yourself," the expert warns.
Additionally, the flight expert suggested that it is often worth putting a smaller bag in your carry-on that can be easily removed just before boarding the flight.
She said that since tourists don't always have access to their luggage, especially during takeoff and landing, keeping essentials and items that can help pass the time nearby can make the flight much more comfortable.
Megan stated that she usually keeps things like snacks, a water bottle, and an eye mask in a bag that can be stashed under her seat. She also suggested that passengers also make sure they have a set of wired headphones, saying that while they are less convenient than the more modern Bluetooth alternative, they may be necessary when using the infotainment system screen.
Finally, if you wish to bring your own devices on board, Megan suggested downloading plenty of movies and TV shows when at home. "If you subscribe to hundreds of different streaming services like Disney Plus or Netflix, you can download movies or episodes of your favorite shows to your phone, tablet, or laptop to watch offline," she said.
She warned that the free Wi-Fi you can connect to at the airport probably won't allow you to download much content, especially not at the speed you'll need while you're waiting to board your flight.
