Visited more than 90 countries with 3 children: travel blogger shares the peculiarities of the trip

A family of bloggers known as The Bucket List Family has visited more than 90 countries with their three children since 2015. Mother Jessica Gee has released her first book, Bucket List Family Travel, in which she tells about their adventures and gives advice on family travel.

The woman described an incident when the family was in Miami, heading to the Caribbean, and did not have time to board the plane. Then the son of Jessica and Garrett Gee, Manilla, fell and split his lip. Jessica also recalls a time when she and her children fell ill while in Fiji. Then, her husband had to stay and let the family go home. However, the woman says that this trip was one of the best, especially when they all went surfing together.

"You have to be prepared enough for things to go wrong. Be prepared that when things go wrong, you have the financial means and the ability to miss a day and all that stuff. Just be prepared to take the hit," Jessica said in an interview with TODAY.com.

Jessica also recalls a time when the family was flying from Chile to the Falkland Islands and the plane hit strong winds, which forced them to turn around. Then the family stayed in a random hotel in a town in southern Chile and, despite the unfavorable conditions, created a positive atmosphere for themselves and their children.

The Gui family notes that traveling became more difficult as the trips became shorter and more exhausting for the family. That is why in 2018, the family found a permanent home in Hawaii, which allows their children to attend school regularly, as well as dance and play sports.
