Island vacation: when to go on a trip to the Seychelles
Are you planning a vacation somewhere far away from the bustling city, work and responsibilities? The Seychelles is a piece of paradise on earth that has its own unique atmosphere and amazing power that helps you recover and find inner peace.
So when is it worth coming to the Seychelles and what seasons are better to stay at home? Conde Nast Traveler told us about it.
The best months
The transitional months of April, May, October, and November can be considered the "golden mean". At this time, the best weather conditions are recorded and the number of tourists who usually choose seasonal vacations in summer or winter is much lower.
The rainy season
December and January are the times when the islands suffer the most from precipitation. This is especially true for the first month of the year when more than eleven inches of rainfall falls. Such rains are short and heavy, and therefore are unlikely to have a major impact on the vacation experience, but rather add a certain charm.
Time for scuba diving
There are no restrictions on scuba diving in the Seychelles throughout the year. However, the best conditions for this are in the transitional months, when the sea is calm and visibility is high. This is when you have a chance to see butterfly fish, spotted rays and green sea turtles.
Seychelles or Maldives
It all depends on your taste and personal preferences. Both islands are worth a visit, but the Maldives is a high end, all-inclusive vacation destination. Instead, the Seychelles can offer luxury and a sense of adventure.
