How to save money on entrance fees to national parks in the United States: a completely legal life hack
National parks in the United States are a very important part of a trip to this country that you shouldn't miss. But sometimes this luxury may not fit into your budget. There is a way out for this, too.
Traveler Chris Haslam told about it in his article in The Times.
For example, an America the Beautiful pass costs £63 and gives you unlimited access for one year to more than 2,000 sites in the United States managed by the Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
When you visit the parks individually, the costs are quite different: for example, Yosemite and Kings Canyon cost £28 each; Joshua Tree costs £24.
To avoid paying this price, buy a single pass at any national park or national recreation area office.
