How to fly to Disneyland without problems at the airport: expert advice
A Fry Bucket journalist shared the life hacks of his trip to the Disney World amusement park. Through trial and error, he was able to make the right routes for himself, as he often travels here for work.
He shared a few tips and personal ways to avoid losing things, which will help you get through airport security quickly. If you don't want to face any problems during your trip, read this expert's recommendations in the AlleArs article.
Get a TSA background check
If you fly frequently or don't want to waste time on lengthy airport security checks, you can purchase TSA PreCheck. This will allow you to pass checkpoints faster for five years. To do this, you need to apply and pass a security check from the TSA (Transportation Security Administration).
If you are approved, you will be given a special number that you can use when booking flights. I use this service myself, and it saves me a lot of time and nerves. I no longer need to arrive at the airport in advance to get through security, although I always plan some extra time in case of delays.
Take ONLY hand luggage with you
I've had to use only carry-on luggage many times, especially during the peak travel season when the lines for baggage check-in get very long. This is especially true at Orlando International Airport (MCO), the closest airport to Disney World. This approach helps to save time and avoid losing luggage.
Despite this, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a place for carry-on luggage on board the plane, and the airline may sometimes still require you to hand over your bag. Therefore, it makes sense to try to fit everything you need into a backpack to be prepared for any situation.
If you do have to check in your luggage, it's important to take all the necessary items, such as medicines, chargers, and personal items, with you in your carry-on bag. After all, even if your luggage doesn't get lost, you may be temporarily without it.
Take a portable charger with you
Airplanes nowadays are usually equipped with USB charging ports, but not all of them. That's why I always bring a portable charger and cable with me, so I don't have to worry about charging my phone during the flight.
With my portable charger, I can be sure that my phone will always be available for use, especially when I need my boarding pass or flight information.
Don't forget a water bottle for emotional support
Why not save money on water at the airport and bring your reusable bottle? I always do this: I take an empty bottle and fill it up after I go through security.
Just make sure it's empty before you go through TSA so you don't have to pour out the liquid, and go ahead and enjoy fresh water on the go!
