Flight attendants named the two dirtiest places on the plane that you shouldn't touch
Although airplanes are cleaned before each flight, sometimes the airline does not have enough time to thoroughly clean all hard-to-reach places. Don't forget that people can spread dirt around them during a flight, so flight attendants strongly advise against touching two seats with your bare body.
The Velloy website has published insider tips from flight attendants with years of experience. One of the main tips from Tara, an experienced TUI flight attendant, is not to neglect your shoes when going to the restroom.
No matter how comfortable it may seem to fly barefoot or in socks, you should wear shoes to the restroom. According to a crew member, in 9 out of 10 cases, the liquid on the floor is not water.
Passengers use the toilet quite often, so it becomes one of the dirtiest places on the plane during the flight. Another undesirable area for body contact is the table in front of the seat.
"Whether you're eating during the flight or having a snack during a layover, never eat directly from the tray. Flight attendants see many people putting their heads down, changing diapers for babies, and even putting their feet on tray tables," the tourists were advised.
If there are no other options, it's always best to disinfect the tray and the space around it yourself when sitting down in your seat.
