There are two seats on the plane that should never be booked: flight attendants' advice
Anyone who loves to travel knows that there are dozens of life hacks that can make your travels a little easier. Most of these useful tips are often well-known to flight attendants who spend a lot of time in the sky.
Velloy, the premium private travel club, has partnered with several flight attendants from the UK to share their travel life hacks with passengers - and there's one that may be of particular interest to you. Specifically, it turns out that there are two specific places that are best avoided if you have a choice, as reported by the Marie Claire website.
According to an insider working with Velloy, travelers should avoid booking seats in row 11, as this is usually the middle row of the plane, meaning you'll likely be the last to leave the plane during disembarkation. Particularly, you should steer clear of seats 11A and 11F because if you're seated by the window, you'll have to wait for your seatmates to get up and leave before you can exit.
But that's not all. Not only will you be the last one to disembark, your food choices may also be limited, and you'll have a harder time getting drinks when you want them. One flight attendant explained: "If you're on a short-haul flight, you're likely to run out of food if you're sitting in the middle of the plane. If you plan to get any drink or snack from the onboard bar on a short- to medium-haul flight, then a seat in the front or back of the plane is 100% the right choice.
"If you sit in the middle, especially on your way home, we are much more likely to sell out of whatever you want because we always start with the front and back rows and work our way towards the middle," the flight attendants say.
