The expert explains how to fit toiletries in a bag without using precious luggage space
Trying to pack everything you need into one vacation bag is challenging enough without having to cram a bag of toiletries into your suitcase—tight enough to fit, but not so tight that your shampoo leaks everywhere.
Travel expert Chelsea Dickinson recently appeared on This Morning to share her tips for those lucky people going on vacation in the coming months. And her advice on packing toiletries can be crucial. This was reported by huffingtonpost.co.
If you have trouble finding room in your luggage, she advised ordering everything you need on the Boots website and, instead of having it delivered to your home, using the click-and-collect service at the airport. That way, after checking in, you'll have the essentials and can just take them with you on board. No need to pack them in your suitcase.
If you're not worried about space in your luggage but feel like you're starting to worry about a possible spill, Dickinson recommends taking the lid off the liquid, covering it with cling film, and then putting the lid back on the cling film.
If you want your clothes to smell fresh when you arrive at your destination, the professional recommends placing dryer sheets between your clothes to give them a lasting fresh scent that will last throughout your vacation.
What personal care products should I take abroad?
It is recommended to pack the following essentials: medicines, contact lenses and solution (if you wear them), shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
