Spring break in Florida: How to spend great time in Tampa Bay
Easter is just around the corner, and tourists from all over the country and even beyond are embarking on an exciting journey to the US state of Florida. This spring, Tampa International Airport expects to welcome between 40,000 and 60,000 passengers daily, all coming here for new experiences and warm sunshine.

Day trips
Cross-Bay Ferry. This is an interesting boat trip that presents the most interesting places in Tampa. Tourists can board the ferry near the Tampa Convention Centre and have a great time on the water.
Ice skating at the pier. During spring break (March 9-17), visitors can enjoy ice skating from 12:00 to 21:00 Sunday through Thursday and until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Opening hours are from 16:00 to 21:00 from Sunday to Thursday and from 12:00 to 22:00 on Saturday.
St. Patrick's Day. The Green River Festival to celebrate the Irish national holiday will take place on Saturday, March 16. Thus, guests will be able to see the Hillsborough River change its usual colour to an emerald shade of green.
Theme parks and attractions
Busch Gardens. This place is expected to host a lot of interesting events. In particular, the crowd can attend concerts, food festivals, and see the place where 29 local kangaroos live.
Adventure Island. Tourists can visit the water park, which is located on an area of 17,000 square feet, not far from Busch Gardens. There are many interesting rides, game rooms, and other entertainment for younger guests.
Legoland. On March 8, the Ferrari Build & Race Experience was opened at this amusement park. This is a place where kids can create their own Ferrari car and test it in action on three extreme test tracks.
ZooTampa. This place has a number of interesting exhibits, including an exhibition called Prehistoric Predators, where visitors can get acquainted with the scale of predators that inhabited the planet long before the existence of mankind.
MOSI. This is a museum of science and industry that has its own exhibition space on the territory of 5000 square feet. Here you can see the world in metamorphosis and "shrink" to the size of a tiny caterpillar.
