In the UK, more than 400 package deals from travel companies were studied and found that extending a 10-day vacation to 11 days could save Britons more than £1,000. In addition, extending a vacation by just one night would cost less than £5 per person.

The researchers explained that 11-day vacations are usually less popular due to different flight dates. They also shared that those going on vacation can save money by sitting separately on the plane and booking flights directly with the airline.
