Secrets to being the first to board at King's Cross Station in London
As soon as the number is announced on the screens, dozens of people storm King's Cross station to be the first to board the train. In this case, the chances of getting into a carriage in time to avoid the crush seem impossible, but they are not.
A hack has been shared online that will make it easier to get on the train and take your seat without any fuss. MyLondon explained how to do it.
TikTok user @railsmartr posted a video in which he shared how to save time and energy for those travelers who travel long distances. In the video, the user says that instead of waiting in front of the scoreboard in the center of the station, it is better to change your location.
In particular, the author argues that travelers should go up to the mezzanine, where all the food outlets are located and the scoreboard is perfectly visible. To do this, you can use one of the escalators, and after the announcement of the desired train, you can go directly through the gate to the bridge from the ground floor to get to the train quickly and easily.
"While everyone else is bustling around on the platform, you're already sitting down and settling in," says the author.
