A popular resort in Florida has just added 43 new luxury suites on the oceanfront
Cheeca Lodge & Spa, one of the most beloved vacation destinations in Florida, aims to provide every guest with the finest view available. That's why it has unveiled 43 new oceanfront suites for everyone to relish.
Situated on Islamorada Island, amidst 27 acres of private land, this luxurious resort is the ideal retreat for those who seek proximity to crystal-clear waters and soft sandy beaches. According to Traveland+Leisure, these new suites allow guests to be just steps away from it all.
Positioned in the northernmost building of the resort, the suites feature king and double queen beds and offer nearly 700 square feet of living space. Decorated in serene neutral tones with accents of tropical hues, such as blue and coral furnishings, each room boasts breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, courtesy of floor-to-ceiling doors leading to private patios, which also include hot tubs.
However, this isn't the only new addition at Cheeca. In a statement provided to Travel + Leisure, the brand announced the recent opening of a new 10,000-square-foot ballroom, The Islamorada Ballroom, making it the largest ballroom in the Upper Florida Keys.
"This marks a significant moment in the evolution of Cheeca Lodge & Spa," said Paul Scott, general manager of Cheeca Lodge & Spa, in a statement. "We're excited to welcome a new generation of travelers, from those celebrating life's most memorable milestones to those seeking a fresh tropical vacation experience. Our guests, both new and returning, will enjoy a luxury vacation unlike any other."
In addition to the new suites, guests can also reserve one of the resort's other rooms overlooking the resort and golf course, featuring the same serene interiors and breezy spaces with private patios. Alternatively, guests can elevate their stay by choosing one of the resort's 11 villas, including the two-bedroom Ernest Villa, dedicated to the Keys' most famous resident, Ernest Hemingway.
Regardless of the room choice, guests can partake in numerous activities offered by the resort or its partners, such as golfing at the Cheeca Lodge Golf Course in the Florida Keys, playing pickleball or tennis, or enjoying water sports like snorkeling, paddleboarding, or a day fishing charter. Then they can retreat to their private sanctuary and do it all over again tomorrow. Rates for oceanfront suites start at $769 per night. For more information and to book a room, visit cheeca.com.
