Not only from the Eiffel Tower: Parisian woman reveals a tricky way to get the best view for free
The City of Love is definitely not a pest-free city. However, with a few top tips, you can enjoy the best views of Paris for next to nothing.
One local woman told us how her husband enjoys the best view of the city. And not from the top of the Eiffel Tower. The Parisian woman boasted that this place is actually much better than the infamous landmark and said that she now takes all her friends there, The Sun reports.
You can see not only the Eiffel Tower itself but also the Arc de Triomphe, the Palais Garnier opera house, the Sacre Coeur Basilica, and all for free.
All you need to do is head to the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store, a 19th-century building that is home to many famous French designers.
And although the prices in the stores may be high, you can go to the roof to admire the views for free.
So, if you are going to Paris in the near future, take the metro to the Opéra station and head to Galeries Lafayette.
You can get to the roof from the escalators that lead to the top floor of the Coupole building, but there is also an elevator.
Once on the roof, you are completely free to spend as much time as you want, immersing yourself in the panoramic beauty.
