Flight attendant reveals a little-known way to upgrade an airplane if the cabin is not fully occupied
Stewardess Cierra Mistt, who does not disclose which airline she works for but runs a popular blog about the behind-the-scenes of working on an airplane, has revealed a secret on how to get a seat in first class. According to her, you just need to be in the right seat.
Of course, this is not a mandatory rule, and flight attendants are not allowed to move people to vacant seats in the better part of the cabin without instructions. Moreover, such requests usually irritate airline employees. However, there is an exception, which Cierra Mistt told about on TikTok, according to Express.
She warned that the advice sounds strange, but sometimes it can be effective. If someone wants to improve their beauty for free, they should sit in the last row.
Cierra explained that on partial flights, flight attendants have to move passengers around to "unload and balance them."
When there are too many people in the tail of the plane, they may be asked to move forward to vacant seats in first class, which is closer to the cockpit.
These are probably very rare cases, but they can serve as a consolation for passengers who are seated in the tail of the plane, where turbulence is most felt.
