An unexpected life hack on how to hide valuables and documents in a hotel without a safe has caused a mixed reaction
A travel blogger has revealed an unexpected life hack that helps him keep his belongings intact while travelling. While figuring out how to pack valuables and documents so that no one would even think to get into them, the authors of the JeffandLaurenshow channel paid attention to diapers.
Their video on TikTok got as many as two million views, but it was mostly ridiculed in the comments. Not everyone liked this trick.
The travellers showed a wrapped diaper in which they put money, a passport, and jewellery, and rolled it back up.
It looked no different from the new diaper, so it was hard to guess that there were valuables inside. The authors of a popular blog wrote that they do this every time they travel.
The caption states that the life hack is especially effective if the hotel does not have a safe for storing valuables. Probably, they are counting on the fact that thieves will not bother to check diapers.
Although the video has garnered two million views, commenters mostly did not appreciate the unexpected "hiding place".
Some advised to wear a diaper to be sure, but others shared that it seemed like a really good idea.
