A TikTok blogger showed 11 life hacks to protect yourself in a hotel room: They caused nothing but laughter
A blogger who travelled on a cruise ship shared with her subscribers her 11-level cabin security, which will not allow anyone to get inside. Many passengers are accustomed to simply locking their doors, but this is not always as reliable as they would like.
A tiktoker named Victoria runs a popular blog: tens of thousands of people follow it. Her life hacks videos have been watched by a record 18.8 million viewers. However, many of them found such a multi-level level of protection ridiculous.
So, the blogger showed that she uses both special gadgets and improvised means to stay safe.
When she goes to bed, she uses an extra lock, a towel, a hanger, a hidden camera, an alarm, heavy furniture, and much more.
However, not everyone can take all these things with them when travelling, so there are ways to protect yourself without them. For example, a "do-not-disturb" sign or clothespin, a locked peephole, curtains, and a window will make passengers feel safer.
The network joked that the woman was going on a cruise to Gotham, blocked herself from leaving the cabin quickly, and would be left without outside help if necessary. Some advised the blogger to add a guard dog or a sniper tower.
However, safety on a cruise ship is very important. Hundreds of women are attacked every year, so additional protection will not be superfluous even if it is 1-2 additional steps from the influencer's list.
